Hole Diggers galore!!!

Well.....here's another group...atish, kavita & anshuman in full form...actually that pic was taken right at the end of all prez's, coz since we had gone first, no pics were taken...so we ended up having to pose for one! But it's turned out quite well!! :-)

Profile-Chhota Atya

Got this in one of the mail forwards and realized (actually told by one of the hole-digger) very late about the matching profile of one the members-Chhota Atya we call him.

What we did last summer (week)

so these are some of the members of hole diggers community trying to pull out the earth what seemed to be a rock. Many stones were turned around and rocks crushed to sand to reach this stage.

Hole digging accomplished

The hole-digger community finished digging their holes today with the completion of all theory exams. Yet final hole is left to be dug in next two days. In next two days we'll see variety of whole being dug with lots of aesthetic and contemporary touch attached to it.

We have a record here

One of the hole digger has broken record of being a girl friend of so many guys in our community.

Well don't take it other way.

As an interaction designer it becomes very important for us to play scenarios explaining the use of our product/design we propose. Only through these hypothetical scenarios which depict some of the real life situations we can explain the feasibility of our work and output.

So we have a lady who has played girlfriend of most of the guys in scenarios.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ....was the one word on every single IxD students mouth last night for sure!!

After a whole gruelling sem of Mr. n Mrs. P, it all finally came down to yesterday....and wat a day it was!!

The best looking ppl were the IxD students yesterday...all dressed up to kill ;-)

At the end, everyone is heaving sighs of relief....but i'm sure April 16th is a day that will b remembered for long.....:-)

Shanon has proposed Information Theory and said that uncertainity means information.

A point in the image which is uncertain and dynamic has most of the information concealed in it.
These are called information rich points.

Today was the day when one moon was eclipsed by other and it looked as if a major merger took place.

So now when we have got our concepts and ideas on paper it's time that we give them a form.
So it's prototypin phase now.

All the hole-diggers have figured out what hole to dig and how much to dig!?!?

Birthdays

So we have birthday of two hole-diggers today.
Chinmoy and Girija.

Had a great bash yesterday night in which Chinmoy did get some real bumps from our precise hole-digger Atish.
And Girija was quite happy with the kind of gift she got yesterday. She has dug her hole ultimately ;-)

Characters' characteristics

Ok...so you saw the pics...now get to know the real hole-diggers...
don't be shocked by what you read!!

Anshuman
"I have thought of where to dig."
Then just casually passing by others "Where r u digging? Did you find anything?"
Not to touch till the night before and then frantically digs however possible overnight.


Kavita
"This sounds interesting."
Starts digging around and after some time realizes "Bahot jyada kar liya lekin kuch nahi mila. Need to stop baba."
Never lets the audience peek where all she has dug. Gives a short and smart perspective.


sURi
Instead of actually digging in there goes to the Media Lab, opens photoshop and makes a perfect visual of the hole on computer with all the depth effects and all,finally shows the same.
Everyone is astounded at his work!


Parth
"Guys first we need to DISCUSS.what will we get if we dig here. Now ****, you do this. And ****, you take this and start digging here. Main abhi 10 minute mein aata hoon.
And then dude is missing for some time, and is finally found with the foreign exchange female from Madagascar...


Kumar
Decides where to dig...goes on.and reaches beneath someone else's hole..realises he's wandered a lot. Moves in other direction.again reaches another's hole.
Wonders what's happening. sits seady.. thinks for sometime...
Presses F9 and starts writing the code for "how to dig a hole by not reaching other's"
Finally gets appreciated for the code and also for digging so much!


Arun
Team: "We might find something if we dig here."
Arun: "Then lets not dig here yaar. What will we learn then? Lets dig somewhere else and present whatever we find there."


Chinmoy
Others take all the tools to him shovels, spades, trowels etc. And explain to him how to dig.
"Aachhe se saamjha naahi..ek baar phir saamjhana.."


Atish
Starts digging anywhere. Finds something. Then proceeds to explain in his presentation how he calculated about finding that exact thing (which he found by chance) and then exactly dug 3.7 feet and found the thing.

Girija
Digs a Very SMALL hole. And explains why she did so starting with "I don't know why... but I feel so and so and so I think...."

yes... despite being in interaction design we all are having these biology lectures in this module...
todays attraction was... human ear..



and one more thing which the prof was testing "AVERAGE PAIN THRESHOLD", it feels really sleepy to be a guinea pig.. ;) :P

ps: an interesting finding -> One of us oscillates more than others !!
